Integrations

Connect external systems — such as an ERP — to your company.

Why integrations exist

Many shops already use an ERP or inventory system. Re-entering products, prices, and stock into Bione manually is tedious and error-prone. An integration keeps both systems in sync — you manage your catalog in the ERP you already use, and Bione reflects the changes automatically.

Why you don't need one

Bione works as a standalone platform. You can manage your catalog, orders, and cashback entirely within the company app. An ERP integration is an optional accelerator for shops that already have inventory management workflows.

How to navigate the integrations screen

  • List — available integrations (for example Bito ERP today, with more to come).
  • Connect — start the connection flow: sign in and authorise the external system to talk to Bione. This generates an API key for the integration (see API keys).
  • Status — connected / disconnected, last-sync info, and a Disconnect action.

How to connect an ERP

  1. Open the Integrations screen.
  2. Find the ERP you want to connect (for example Bito ERP).
  3. Tap Connect.
  4. You'll be redirected to the ERP's sign-in page.
  5. Sign in and authorise Bione to access your data.
  6. You're returned to Bione — the integration is now connected.

What happens after connecting

Bione begins a three-pass catalogue sync: first products, then prices, then stock. This takes a few minutes depending on catalog size. After the initial sync, changes propagate automatically.

When to connect

  • New shop — connect before adding products manually. The sync will create products from your ERP.
  • Existing shop — connect if you want to stop managing products in Bione and use your ERP instead. Bione will import your catalog and lock the ERP-owned fields.

What gets locked

When an ERP is connected, certain fields become externally owned — Bione won't let you edit them directly. Typically: price, stockQty, name. These are managed by the ERP. You can see which fields are locked on each product via the lockedFields array.

How to disconnect

From the integrations screen, tap Disconnect on the active integration.

When to disconnect

  • Switching ERPs — disconnect the old one before connecting a new one.
  • Going standalone — if you decide to manage products in Bione directly.
  • Troubleshooting — disconnect and reconnect to reset a stuck sync.

What happens after disconnecting

Locked fields become editable again. The products, prices, and stock that were synced remain — they just stop updating from the ERP. You can now manage them manually.

How to add a custom integration

Developers building their own integration use the Bione API with a key you create. The API reference covers catalog, orders, customers, and cashback endpoints.

When to build a custom integration

If your ERP or system isn't one of the pre-built options, the API lets you build your own sync. You'll need a developer to implement the integration — see API keys for how to create a key.
