Checkout
Review your cart, choose how you'll get your order, and pay. Checkout is per shop — your cart can hold items from several shops at once, and you check out each shop's group separately.
Why checkout is per-shop
Cashback is non-fungible — credit earned at Shop A can only be spent at Shop A. Splitting checkout by shop means each transaction earns and spends cashback correctly for that business. If Shop A and Shop B were merged into one checkout, the cashback math would break.
The cart
- One tab per shop — each shop in your cart has its own tab.
- Each line shows the product image, name, unit, price, a quantity stepper, and a remove control.
- The grand total for everything is shown in the Cart tab of the bottom navigation.
- "Anything else?" — a quick-add strip lets you search this shop's catalog and add more without leaving the cart.
When to review your cart
Before you check out, review quantities and remove anything you changed your mind about. The cart remembers your items across sessions, so there's no rush — but prices and stock can change while items sit in your cart.
How to check out
Step 1 — choose delivery or pickup
Pick whether the order is delivered or picked up. This changes the rest of the form:
- Delivery — you'll need an address and a recipient phone.
- Pickup — you'll choose a branch and collect it yourself.
Step 2 — select a branch
Choose which branch fulfils the order. For pickup, this is where you collect. For delivery, this determines which location prepares and ships your order.
When to change the branch: if a product is out of stock at your default branch, or if you want to pick up from a specific location.
Step 3 — set your address (delivery only)
Pick a saved address, or the default. Enter the recipient phone — the shop needs this to contact you about the delivery.
Step 4 — optional extras
- Leave at door — toggle if you want the courier to leave the package.
- Instructions — any note for the shop (for example "call when nearby").
Step 5 — redeem cashback
Toggle redeem cashback to spend your store credit at this shop against this order.
When to redeem: if you have a balance at this shop and want to lower your out-of-pocket cost. The toggle shows how much will be deducted. You can only redeem up to the order total — unused balance stays in your account.
When not to redeem: if you're saving your balance for a bigger purchase later, or if you'd rather earn the cashback on a paid order (some shops only release cashback on fully paid orders).
Step 6 — choose payment method
- Cash — pay the shop directly on delivery/pickup.
- Saved card — pay in the app by card. This confirms through your bank with an OTP.
Step 7 — confirm and place
Review the totals — subtotal, cashback redeemed, and total — then tap Place order. This clears this shop's group from your cart.
How card payment works
If you pay by card, a card hold is placed with your bank:
- You receive a 6-digit code on your phone. Enter it in the code cells.
- Confirm to make the order real.
- Retry on failure, or cancel to go back.
Your masked card number (for example •••• 1234) is shown so you know which card you're paying with.
Why an OTP step exists
Card payments require two-factor authentication to prove you hold the card. The OTP is the bank's way of confirming it's really you — it protects against stolen card numbers.
How to check out multiple shops
If your cart has items from several shops, each shop gets its own checkout screen. Complete them one at a time — you can checkout Shop A now and Shop B later. The Cart tab's grand total updates as you complete each shop.
