Products

Manage the catalog that customers see in your storefront — add, edit, and import products.

Why products are the foundation

Your product catalog is what customers browse, compare, and buy. Accurate names, prices, images, and stock counts directly affect whether customers place orders. A product with no image or wrong price loses trust instantly.

How to navigate the products list

  • Grid / list toggle — switch between card view and a table.
  • Search — search by product name.
  • Filters — filter by Status (All / Active / Inactive) and Category.
  • Import and Add product buttons.

Grid view cards show the image, name, SKU, price (UZS), stock count, and a moderation status badge (Pending / Approved / Rejected).

List view columns: Name, SKU, Price, Status, and Actions (Edit / Delete).

When to use grid vs. list

Grid when you want to see product images at a glance (useful for visual catalogs like fashion or food). List when you need to scan many products quickly by name and price.

How to add a product

The product form has several sections:

1. Basic information

  • Name (required) — what customers see. Be specific: "O'zbek plov (1 portion)" beats "Plov".
  • SKU (required) — your internal stock-keeping unit. Must be unique across your catalog.
  • Unit (optional) — for example "kg", "piece", "litre".
  • Category (category picker) — helps customers find you in the directory.
  • Active toggle — turn off to hide a product without deleting it.

2. Description

A markdown editor with a Visual / Preview mode toggle, so you can format the product description.

When to write a good description: always. Customers compare products across shops. A description that explains what's special about your product (ingredients, origin, portion size) helps them choose you.

3. Images & video

  • Drag-and-drop upload (or "Upload image"), PNG/JPEG/WebP.
  • An image grid where you click a thumbnail to set the main image.
  • An optional video URL (e.g. a YouTube link).

When to add multiple images: when the product looks different from different angles, or when presentation matters (food, clothing, furniture). The first image is what appears in search results — make it the best one.

4. Per-branch pricing & stock

A table with a row per branch: Sold, Price (UZS), Stock, and a Low-stock alert. Set how much each branch has and what it charges.

5. Cashback override

A toggle to override cashback for this product and set a percentage 0–100. When set, this product's rate takes priority over the shop's default.

When to override: for high-margin products where you can afford more cashback, or for clearance items where you want to incentivize quick sales. Don't override for low-margin products — you'll lose money.

6. Barcode

  • EAN-13 field.
  • Generate — create a barcode.
  • Clear — remove it.
  • Validity indicator, and a Print button for a label.

If you've enabled fiskalizatsiya (see Settings), the form also shows a Tasnif classification picker that's required for each product.

Buttons: Cancel / Create (or Save when editing).

How to read product detail

Open a product to see:

  • An image gallery.
  • Price & cashback — price (UZS), the cashback amount/percentage, and whether it uses the tier default.
  • Stock table — per branch, with status badges (OK / Low stock / Out of stock).
  • The description (rendered markdown).
  • Meta — SKU, category, barcode, status, created date, moderation status, and any rejection reason.

Use Edit to make changes.

How to import products from CSV

A 4-step importer for adding many products at once:

Step 1 — upload CSV

Drag-and-drop or "Select File". Shows the row count, with a "Download Template" link.

When to use import: when you have more than 10 products to add. The template ensures your columns map correctly to Bione fields.

Step 2 — map columns

Match each CSV column to a Bione field. Key fields: Name*, SKU*, Price*, Description, Category Name, Cashback %, Barcode, Active. A preview shows sample data; required fields are marked.

Step 3 — review

See validation results (Row, Status, Name, SKU, Message) before importing. Options: Skip errors, Update by SKU, Auto-create categories, Create as draft.

When to use "Update by SKU": when you're updating existing products (price changes, stock updates). The importer matches on SKU and updates rather than creating duplicates.

Step 4 — done

A summary of Created / Updated / Skipped, with "Import more" or "Go to Products".

How moderation works

New products go through moderation before they appear to customers. The status badge shows Pending / Approved / Rejected. Rejected products show a reason — fix the issue and resubmit.

When to check moderation status

After adding a product, check its status in the products list. If it's rejected, read the reason, fix it, and resubmit. Products in "Pending" are being reviewed — no action needed from you.
